Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

Nationality
Indian Citizen (Karnataka Domicile preferred)
Education
Must have passed SSLC / 10th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Language Knowledge
Must have knowledge of Kannada Language (Written & Spoken).
Height (Men - GM)
Minimum 168 cms (5'6")
Height (Men - SC/ST)
Minimum 163 cms (5'4")
Height (Women)
Minimum 155 cms (5'1")
Chest (Men - GM)
86 cms (Expanded 91 cms)
Chest (Men - SC/ST)
83 cms (Expanded 88 cms)
Medical Standards
Must not have knock-knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.
Character
Good Character certificate required during document verification.
Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination
Objective Type (100 Marks / 90 Minutes)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height & Chest measurement (Qualifying)
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
1600m Run (Men) / 400m Run (Women)
4. Endurance Test
Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put
5. Viva Voce / Interview
20 Marks
6. Medical Examination
Eye Sight & General Health (Mandatory)
7. Document Verification
Certificate verification at KSP HQ
8. Final Merit List
Based on aggregate marks
